About Lawyer
Andrew Grayson in a senior lawyer at the Toronto office, having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in February 2025. Prior to this position, he worked 3 years at Desjardins Insurance inhouse legal, practicing all types of insurance defense issues. Prior to that position, he worked 20 years at the law firm of Regan Desjardins LLP and was a Partner. He primarily did insurance defense and some subrogation. He mostly practiced defending insurers against many types of insurance fraud. Andrew received his undergrad degree in Honours History and Political Science in 1997 at King’s College at Western. He then obtained his LLB from Ottawa Law School in 2000. He has done litigation in tribunals and tribunal appeals, small claims and superior court cases and the Divisional court. He sat as second Chair at a superior court jury trial. He is a member of the LSO and CASIU, The “Canadian Association of Special Investigation Units.” He has made speeches at the yearly CASIU Fraud Forum on various Insurance Fraud defense topics.
