About Lawyer

Emily Zhou is a lawyer at the Toronto office, having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in September 2019 as an articling student. Her area of practice is insurance defence litigation. Emily received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto in 2016. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto in 2019 and was called to the bar in 2020. While in law school, Emily participated in the First Year Trial Advocacy Program and worked as a part-time student at Downtown Legal Services. She also worked as a PBSC Family Law Project volunteer at the family court located at 47 Sheppard and 311 Jarvis.

Emily’s personal interests include cooking, travelling, and target shooting.
