About Lawyer
Lisa Marie Buccella is a Senior Litigation Counsel at the Toronto office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in 2020. Prior to this, she worked in private practice for thirteen years. Her practice focus is complex property loss claims but she has also has extensive experience in defending auto claims and investigating suspected fraud cases. Lisa Marie received her undergrad degree from York University in 2003 and went on to obtain her LLB from the University of Windsor school in 2006, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007. Lisa Marie has worked on both jury and nonjury cases and trials. She is an active member of The Advocates’ Society through her roles on the 10+ Standing Committee; the Collegiality, Mentoring & Membership Standing Committee and the Mentoring Working Group. She has written and spoken on legal procedure, the sharing economy and career strategies.
