About Lawyer

Martina Sagermann serves as Quality Counsel, Litigation Counsel & Student Program Director with Aviva Trial Lawyers. Martina works out of the Toronto office having joined ATL as an articling student in 2017.

As Quality Counsel, Martina assists with overseeing the quality of all legal work performed within the department.  She conducts qualitative file reviews and investigations, makes recommendations, and facilitates solutions with a view to strategy and performance.

As Student Program Director, Martina oversees the hiring, training and development of the summer and articling students in the department.

Martina further maintains a litigation practice with a focus on professional liability and medical negligence.
