About Lawyer

Monica is Litigation Counsel at the Toronto office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers as a summer student in 2022, where she returned for her articles. She was called to the bar in 2024 and practices in the area of insurance defence litigation. She received her undergraduate degree from Ryerson University in 2018, majoring in Criminology and minoring in Sociology. Monica went on to obtain a JD from the University of Ottawa, where she also completed the Advocacy bundle. Prior to law school, Monica worked as a legal assistant at a full-service law firm. 

Personal Interests

Monica’s personal interests include working out, hiking, learning languages, and cake decorating.
