About Lawyer

Paula is Counsel  at the Toronto office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in 2021. Prior to this, she worked at a prominent insurance company as in-house counsel. From her articles, Paula has practiced exclusively in the area of insurance defence, with a focus in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls and dog bites. Paula received her undergraduate degree from York University in 2014, where she majored in Law & Society. She went on to obtain a J.D. from the University of Ottawa in 2017 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018. Paula has appeared at various levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice and Small Claims Court. She has also appeared before the License Appeal Tribunal by way of written hearings. 

Personal Interests

Paula loves to cook and try different cuisines; she considers herself a “foodie”. She also enjoys hikes and walking along trails with her dog Link and practicing hot yoga when she can.
