About Lawyer

Saro Setrakian is Senior Counsel at our Toronto office. Before joining Aviva Trial Lawyers in January 2025, Saro was a partner at a boutique insurance defence firm in downtown Toronto. He has a wide range of experience defending and resolving personal injury actions, construction negligence actions, accident benefits claims, property claims, and disputes between insurers. Saro received his B.A. from McGill University in 2008. Saro obtained his degrees in common law (LL.B.) and civil law (B.C.L.) from McGill University in 2012 and was called to the bar of Ontario in 2013. Saro has both trial and appellate experience and has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario and before the Financial Services Commission (FSCO) and the License Appeals Tribunal (LAT).
