About Lawyer

Yasamin Pouragheli is Counsel at the Oakville office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in 2022. Prior to this she worked for a prominent Toronto litigation boutique as well as a large firm in project management and contract review.  Yasamin received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from York University 2014. She went on to obtain a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2018 and was called to the Bar in 2019.

Yasamin has appeared at various levels of court including the Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court. She has written for the OBA Alternative Dispute Resolution Section.

Personal Interests

In her personal life Yasamin enjoys hot yoga, skiing in beautiful British Columbia during the winter season, and reading works of classic fiction on the beach.
